Swell Graduated Compression Alpaca Socks combine 15-20mmHg graduated compression with the natural performance of 33% alpaca fiber for comfort you won’t find in a synthetic compression sock. Alpaca gives the sock a softer, more temperature-regulating and moisture-managing feel than a conventional synthetic compression sock. That’s particularly appealing because compression socks can otherwise feel hot, stiff or overly clinical. The graduated compression helps support healthy circulation and may ease swelling and fatigue, making long travel days or extended hours on your feet feel more manageable.

Alpaca brings its own advantages: it retains just 8% moisture compared with 30% for merino, helps regulate temperature in every season, and offers a naturally soft, hypoallergenic feel that’s gentle on sensitive skin. A terry-lined footbed and Achilles cushion add step-by-step comfort, while the over-the-calf fit and extra-wide comfort cuff stay in place without feeling restrictive. These socks can be worn 3–5 times between washes, making them a practical and therapeutic gift for travelers, busy professionals, or anyone who wants to feel better at the end of the day.

Note: Some medical conditions may not be suitable for compression socks. Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns.

Odor resistance Best Naturally antimicrobial, stays fresh in boots Good Resists odor well Poor Traps odor after a day of wear
Itch-free softness Best Smooth fiber scales, no prickle Good Soft, though some feel a prickle Good Soft and itch-free
Sensitive skin Best Lanolin-free and hypoallergenic Fair Contains lanolin, which can irritate Good Gentle on most skin

Reviews

Great product!

"Great product and very nice fit. I like that they go over the calf, but not past the knee like some brands. Very comfortable without putting too much pressure on my toes!!"

— ROBERT R. (5/5)

Very Comfy Compression Socks

— John C. (5/5)

— Terry P. (5/5)

Great compression experience

"They really helped keep my ankles from getting swollen. Very comfortable and not hot even though I was wearing them all day at the height of summer!"

— RONA P. (5/5)

Quality Good; Sizing an Issue

"I can’t pull these up over my lower shin. Returning them."

— Elizabeth B. (2/5)

Great compression socks.

"These work great, I wear them every day while waiting for my leg to heal."

— Walter H. (5/5)

Compression socks

"If you want an extremely tight fit, these probably aren't for you, but for me they are perfect. I can get them on and they don't bind my legs. They work well for me because I need medium compression. It was always a struggle to the finish for me to get on compression hose, I feel these are sturdy and my finger nails won't go through then as I put them on. Highly recommend for medium compression."

— Nancy H. (5/5)

These are nice socks, but

"These are nice socks, but they are not wide or extra wide calf by no means."

— JON Z. (5/5)

Great Quality Socks

"Love my socks!! I have very sensitive feet and are always cold and even more in the winter, but since I started using these socks is way much better."

— Carlos O. (5/5)

New socks !

"They are great so far ! Thanks"

— SCOTT S. (5/5)

Q&A

Will these fit over wide calves?
Please check out our NEW Wide Calf Compression Socks https://www.warrioralpacasocks.com/extra-wide-compression-alpaca-socks/ made for wider calfs. These are for standard size legs. Hope this helps! - The Warrior Alpaca Sock Team
I ordered socks for shoe size 13 but the socks were a little too tight but I kept them because I’m losing weight, so hopefully they will fit better. Your competitor ,hollow, do fit better but Im hoping to find the right socks with you
Our Swell Compression Socks are designed to fit snugly against the skin, offering 8–15 mmHg graduated compression—so a tighter feel is expected with that style. If you prefer a less snug fit but still want light compression, we recommend our Alpaca Wool Work Socks – Light Compression. For a men’s size 13, the X-Large will offer the most comfortable fit.
How long are these? I have your other style of compression socks, and they reach my knees, which I like.
The Compression socks are over the calf high. They should settle in the narrow space above your calf at the knee. Hope this helps!
