  4. Extreme Cold Below 10°F Terry lining from cuff to toe or our heaviest knit. Long hours in deep cold.

  1. Smooth Snug performance or compression knit. Sleek, supportive and durable.
  2. Soft Classic alpaca blend with a flat knit. Soft and itch-free.
  3. Extra Soft Baby alpaca blend or a plush terry interior.

I'm trying to get an idea of the thickness/weight/warmth before ordering. What is the GSM of these socks/this material? Thanks!
Kelsey, We don't rate in GSM. Alpaca is the most thermal natural fiber there is. With its natural wicking, it is thermo-regulating, meaning it's the perfect warmth for the person who wears it. Providing a GSM isn't a good factor, nor could we gage it because it works in concert with your natural body temperature (or that of a baby/toddler or child) to keep them in the perfect zone without overheating or under-heating.
