How we rate

Warmth

  1. Light 55°F and up Thin knit, no cushioning. For dress shoes, sneakers and warm days.
  2. All-Season 35–55°F Midweight knit or light cushioning. Everyday wear, three seasons.
  3. Cold-Weather 10–35°F Terry-lined foot or thick knit. Winter days, boots and hikes.
  4. Extreme Cold Below 10°F Terry lining from cuff to toe or our heaviest knit. Long hours in deep cold.

Softness

  1. Smooth Snug performance or compression knit. Sleek, supportive and durable.
  2. Soft Classic alpaca blend with a flat knit. Soft and itch-free.
  3. Extra Soft Baby alpaca blend or a plush terry interior.
  4. Cloud Soft Full terry, baby alpaca lounge knits or hand-knit 100% alpaca. Our softest.

Temperatures are a guide for everyday wear. Active days run warmer.

You know the drill: dress shoes on by 8am, still going strong at 6pm, and your feet paying the price by hour three. That's where these come in. Silky-soft baby alpaca — finer and gentler than standard alpaca — wraps your feet while a seamless toe and reinforced heel keep everything smooth against dress shoes all day long. Natural thermoregulation means you stay comfortable whether you're in a warm conference room or catching a draft by the window, and the close-knit, refined profile stays polished under any pant leg. Hypoallergenic and lanolin-free, they're gentle even if you've sworn off wool, and odor-resistant enough to get you through back-to-back meetings without a second thought.

Odor resistance Best Naturally antimicrobial, stays fresh in boots Good Resists odor well Poor Traps odor after a day of wear
Itch-free softness Best Smooth fiber scales, no prickle Good Soft, though some feel a prickle Good Soft and itch-free
Sensitive skin Best Lanolin-free and hypoallergenic Fair Contains lanolin, which can irritate Good Gentle on most skin

Dress Socks

"They are the right thickness and fit tight enough around the foot, but not too tight."

— BRUCE H. (4/5)

Different and good

"My first time with alpaca socks, they feel lighter than merino, they are not as tight. Good for the summer in Florida."

— ARON T. (5/5)

Constantly slide down

"Does not stay up at all they bunch at the ankles"

— Braiden O. (1/5)

Dress Socks

"They are soft, no seems true to size."

— BRUCE H. (5/5)

Tops

"I wish that the tops were a little less binding"

— JOHN B. (4/5)

I have ordered these socks

"I have ordered these socks for the last three Christmases. Those who receive them love them! They are true to size, fit nicely, and let your feet breathe. I wear them all year long — even in summer. While they are thin, they keep your feet comfortable during cool weather too. I wash them with my ordinary laundry and hang them on the line to dry. They hold their shape beautifully. They look great for no matter the event. Highly recommend these."

— CELESTE C. (5/5)

Flimsy, thin, not very soft, expensove

"For as much as I paid, I expected more. I have gotten better, softer socks for less. They are an okay dress sock, but I have a bunch of okay dress socks I paid $25 for 3 pairs, those were that for one pair."

— Matt T. (2/5)

Good for what they are.

"I ordered dress socks so that the elastic around the ankle and lower calf was softer than sport socks, however, they are too thin to really keep my feet warm. Not a fault of the manufacture, just my choice."

— Robert B. (4/5)

Just what I wanted in

"Just what I wanted in a dress sock"

— David W. (5/5)

They Fit!!!!

"I love these socks. I have a hard time finding socks that fit because I have small feet. Warrior Alpaca Socks carry a size I can comfortably wear. They keep my feet warm and I love the softness of socks as well. I'll be back for more."

— PATRICIA H. (5/5)
