Feature Warrior Alpaca Merino Wool Cotton
Warmth Best Hollow fibers trap heat, warmer than wool without the bulk Good Warm, but needs more bulk for the same heat Poor Little insulation, and none once it gets wet
Moisture-wicking Best Pulls sweat away and dries fast Good Wicks well, dries more slowly Poor Absorbs sweat and stays wet
Odor resistance Best Naturally antimicrobial, stays fresh in boots Good Resists odor well Poor Traps odor after a day of wear
Itch-free softness Best Smooth fiber scales, no prickle Good Soft, though some feel a prickle Good Soft and itch-free
Sensitive skin Best Lanolin-free and hypoallergenic Fair Contains lanolin, which can irritate Good Gentle on most skin
Durability Best Strong fiber that holds its shape Good Durable, prone to felting if overheated Fair Wears thin and stretches out

How did I live without these?

"I’ve never been a big sock wearer, but I mentioned my sickles existence to a friend, and for Christmas, I was gifted my first pair of Warrior Alpaca Socks. 10 minutes in, and and I was hooked. I wore them for a couple of days just to make sure I loved them, then I ordered four more pair, and I’ll be back for me. I got two pair of the “bed socks” and two of the “Toastie Toes”, and though I love all of them, I prefer having the toastiest of toes. Yowza, these are great. I will definitely be buying more. HIGHLY recommend, and also, my cats love them and have tried sleeping on them, so be aware, you may have to hide them from the felines :)"
